Milking The Prostate Gland for Relief of Prostatitis

Milking the prostate gland is a method of prostate gland stimulation using the hand or medical instrument. This activity causes a prostate to ejaculate seminal fluid. In the hand technique, someone inserts their fingers into your rectal region to milk the prostate. It's tough to do the prostate milking by yourself, so it's generally done by a medical professional or a partner. Milking the prostate gland is also known as prostate massage.

Although often used interchangeably, prostate massage is more often used when the aim is relief of chronic prostatitis. Milking the prostate gland is more closely associated with the reduction of sexual drive or activity via prostatic fluid removal.

Milking The Prostate Gland Solo

The procedure for massaging or milking the prostate gland is fairly simple. While not exactly the best way to do it, milking the prostate gland solo is acceptable. Here are steps you can take if you want to go the whole milking the prostate gland activity alone.

* Perform bowel movement or urination to heighten the relaxation of the prostate area.
* Trim your fingernails and make sure they've got no jagged edges protruding prior to milking the prostate gland.
* Thoroughly clean your hands and body then slip your hands into sterile latex gloves. Dab water-based lube on your hand digits before milking the prostate gland.
* Gently insert your finger/s into your anal region. Move fingers upwards and inwards gradually. Fingers should be moving in the navel's general direction.
* You'll start to feel something resembling a large walnut. This is the prostate gland. Massage it using a delicate, waving motion along the sides. Don't press too hard on the center or you'll hit the sensitive nerves. Take care not to touch the prostate gland with your bare fingernails when milking the prostate gland.
* You might experience some troubling sensation that gives you the urge to go to the bathroom when you don't really have to. Try to ignore this and get on with the procedure.
* After several minutes, the prostate gland will be sufficiently stimulated to ejaculate. It's possible to experience orgasm in the process of milking the prostate gland, but it doesn't always bring about successful ejaculation.

Prostate gland milking is sometimes used as a medical procedure for relief of symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BHP) and chronic prostatitis. Milking the prostate gland is not recommended for patients suffering from acute prostatitis as the infection can quickly spread elsewhere within the body if prostate gland massage is performed.
